Thread: Help! Recalibrate Needles

    help!!! i just struck a needle while mucking around with the face of the rev meter.
    the needle still works, but it is about 10mm too low. anyone know how to bring it back up to 0 again?

    with the vl you can get the needle off with a fork, carefully.. and then line it up and put it back on.

    so long as you haven't done too much damage that should be fine.

    yeah, i just pulled it off and readjusted it until it stopped at zero. i am yet to put it back in and rev it...... fingers crossed lol....

    Reading this made me get over my slackness and get my old dash out and get the pieces off it that I need for my new dash. Broke the needle because of my carelessness. Bit of glue should fix it up.

    i learnt my lesson with my old vk!
    NEVER EVER fiddle with the dash! i was gently cleaning the speedo face when i slipped n broke the needle clean off!
    the result, had to get a re'coed speedo
