    Is the be senator 185i memcal any different, or has a different tune on a standard vr 5ltr?

    Memcal has knock sensor board and tuned to suit obviously. Also different cam in the HSV motors from memory.

    Memcal has been recalibrated but there is no difference in the camshaft.

    there basicly tuned up for performance, so high shift points, different running pressure in the auto, more fuel, etc etc
