Does anyone know how much it costs to get a transmission recoe'd or a new second hand tranny for a VR.. mine is slowly on it's way out

transtyle in hallam i didnt actually get it done i traded the car in

ahh ok. I asked my mechanic how much.. he said about $2000 ((1980))
