Is there a way to remove rear springs without a spring compressor?

Pretty much what the title says. I want to take out my rear springs, I had a search but all the people that did it had spring compressors and well I don't have spring compressors. someone told me to just jack the car up as much as possible and they'll fall out, but I only have a little 1400kg jack. also no car stands either.

Normally lowered springs fall out if the cars jacked up.
I've never had experience with stock springs...

If you have IRS you might need compressors. but if you have a solid axle you might be able to do it without.

cant see why people want to attempt car mods without the necessary tools/equipment. this is how accidents happen.

buy some car stands before you go all "invisible caravan" on your car.

if its solid axle u can just undo the shock bolts and let the diff drop right down, might need a bit of persuasion sometimes but ive done it a few times getting standard springs out.
if its irs i dunno cos ive never worked one one but could be similar.

super cheap auto sell spring compressors for $20 probably less now days, wouldn't it be good doing it right? i've seen people get very sore limbs from flying springs!!
