hey howz it goin?

me n my mate happend 2 bring out tha tools on my vs, and thought we cud do a job on my airbox instead of payin for a SS induc kit which cost lyks $300ish.

I brought a K&N panel filter, and what we did was he removed the air feed which was there n bined it, then we choped the fron completly open of the air box, so it lyk a huge mouth n sucks from everywhere. I noticed a huge difference n believed it did the job, it sucks heaps now u can deaftanly here it, it sounds way more agro, n has that really sucking sound.

so whats you guys thoughts on it?

pics would be good, but how is it a CAI when you are still pulling air in from the engine bay?

it would use less fuel, helps it breath better

more oxygen means more fuel... The idea of a CAI is to bring cold air in instead of hot air, for an example VS S/C CAI doesnt really bring more air in just cooler air.
