coolent coming out when knock sensor was takin off?

my knock sensor on my vs clubsport 5l was stuffed had to get it fixed when they pulled it out some coolent came out is it ment to does the water run near there?

yeah im pretty sure that they were placed near the water jackets in the block because they got a coolant reading aswell

Actually when you drain the cooling system, if you want to get every last bit of coolant out you have to remove the knock sensors to get the last 3 litres or so out of the block

It's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
