VS SS brakes

Hey, I'm a first timer on the site. I have a slightly warmed VS SS with a curious brake prob...it is the series 2 with ABS. After accellerating, when I brake I initially hear and feel a slight "clack" through the brake pedal and steering wheel...but here's the thing: 1. It doesn't do it if I am going downhill (however slightly) 2. It mainly does it after accelleration, but sometimes it is much worse that others....and sometimes it does not do it at all. It is very odd, and somewhat frustrating :b: . I have thought of a few things...worn brake caliper mounts ( but why only when on flat or uphill?)..and maybe suspension, but it feels more aligned with the braking system. I had the brakes serviced a while back and the fluid changed and discs and pads replaced, and in all other respects the brakes are fine. Any suggestions would be great.
