The car has relays standard and I think 100 watt bulbs may melt the bulbholders and/or reflectors. People do fit more powerful bulbs....I think they are 70 watt but not sure ---someone else on this forum will know.
It doesnt matter about the power you put into them because manufactures already make extremely bright lights that can run on your existing system. Lights that are brighter then legal. The only limitation is how bright do you want to go before the boys in blue notice and tell you to change them.
