i have a vr berlina and the bonnet release inside wont do anything but clunk when you pull it then clunk again when you let go and isnt releasing the bonnet so the secondary release can be activated.... i can't see how to get in to release it from outside.

does anyone know how to? cause id like to be able to open it :b:

thanks for any help.

you need two people, one to push down on the front of the bonnet and someone to pull the bonnet release

if you get under the car at the front with a decent size screwdriver (flatblade) you can manipulate the spring that holds the striker just shine a torch up there and you will see .
i had the same problem with my vs after having the front end fixed

Not bad. According to mr Gregory (for the VN at least) the magic number 52mm from plate to plate.
