statesman centre console

hey guys
just wondering if anyone knows if a vs statesman centre console simply bolts into a commo?. i have a vs series 2 berlina, any info on weather it fits and where i could possibly get the parts would be appreciated. thanx

wreckers might have parts, as for the giggie lighter in the back of the console could just link it with the front one.

i dont know how well the shifter etc would fit but im assuming its the same, from there, it should mate up with the radio / coin tray area fine i would think.

Yer im hoping to do the same thing with me vs s, they are bloody expensive and hard to find, especially in good condition

Yes, everything is interchangable

except if you just buy the cover part, you will need to cut out the centre console switch part on your original console a bit, and put a couple of screws into the bin part

Oh I see so if I swap the centre console compartment the gearshifter and handbreak surround panel and the cd player console it will all fit???

Thats a VS Series 2/3 Console, which is different to VR and VS series 1.

VN2NV will know for sure, but i think its just a metal bracket that has to be cut out for it to fit (and would usually be a trim of the radio surround panel, but that pic has the complete part, so obviously wouldn't need that mod)
