Hey Jazack

Give them some time mate... I am sure SOMEONE will respond soon!

I am looking at exactly the same thing now - my exhaust on my VS is crap - or the Cat is anyway...

So I have decided to get a 2.5inch sports exhaust fitted when I get my Cat replaced (from the catalytic converter back to the tail), but I was wondering about the extractors as well, so this will be interesting.

I have had a mate tell me a 3 or bigger pipe system will crackle and make bad noise, so I am just going to go for the 2.5. There's a place in Slacks Creek Brisbane that does the whole 2.5 inch cat-back system for about $270. The same guy does the extractor/headers for $630. New cat is $195. These prices are all fitted.

ive got pacemaker extractors, new 2" yframe to 2.5" highflow cat.
2.5" cat back exhaust.

u dont need to replace the cat, its only if you want that little bit more. but only put in on if you get extractors.

pacemaker extractors & lukey or redback exhaust 2.5" these seem to be a popular choice & will give a nice sound, i had redback exhaust on my vr, no complaints at all

a good exhaust for a v6 commy...well for starters u didnt really give ne idea of budget, but if u want something nice get urself something like pacemaker extractors running into a 2 1/2" lukey exhaust and put in a high flow cat (if u wanna get the most out of it).oh and dont be tempted to go above 2 1/2" with only a v6 you'll loose compression and waste power.
