I have just purchased a VS SeriesIII S pack ute. 5 litre manual. It has a HBD option pack that consists of, amongst other things, a leather gear knob and steering wheel.
Anyway, the centre console has a small crack where a mobile phone cradle once sat and the vinyl around the handbrake is worn out. Some of the stitching on the leather gear knob also needs redoing.
I'd love to take the console out to repair it but the previous owner told me the gearknobs are pressed on and can't be removed.
Does that sound right? If not, how does it come off. I haven't really had much time to look yet.
Also, the small plastic triangles on the inside of the doors where the controls would be for manual mirrors, how hard are they to take off?
Thanks
