it says its a 6 cylinder, and im guessing its a VS as it has a vt engine in it which is pretty much the same as the vs engine. (straight swap without dramas)

Try the trading post, I had my old vh on car sales for a month and never got a call. The day I put it in the trading post I had 4 calls before 11 am. Although I ended up selling it from the nature strip with a big sign in the window! hehe
$7000 seems pretty good for a engine with 80,000 on it, people may be put off that its had an engine swap? dunno...

If I were looking for a VS I'd be put off by the following (with reason)...don't get upset by what I say because I'm just saying what the average punter will say. On the other hand I like the rest of your advert and the car is probably in really good condition BUT there are hundreds of cars out there for sale and you need to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative. Most "upgrades" do not add to the attractiveness or saleability of the car!

white resprayed 5 months ago (must have been in a prang or rusted)
CAI (car has been thrashed)
Chipped (car has been thrashed)
6inch blaupunkt in front (young bloke owns car)
6x9's in rear (car thrashed and young bloke)
put a vt engine with 80,000 in about 4 months ago (car thrashed and replacement motor fitted after motor thrashed)
cat back exhaust (young bloke - noisy?)
VX-Spac mags (young bloke)
lowered (thrashed - lowered for looks)
very dark tinted windows (young bloke)

I'd say in the advert that the car is in top condition and extra's have been fitted to enhance the driving pleasure...or something like that.

car sounds sweet but most people these days either want a stock car to start with or get scared by mods..

if you dont have much luck with selling it, might be worth your while to sell off parts seperately and sell car close to stock. more of a hassle but you will get more money

Plz dont take offence but I'd have to agree with what other have said...

If I was looking to buy your car I'd be asking myself... fresh motor, new respray and now he's trying to get rid of it... rings alarm bells of a cover up of some sort...why would someone spend so much on a car they didn't intend keeping ?...was it stacked and just been fixed ?

I personally stay away from done up cars as they usually have been thrashed....

I prefer stockies...the lower km's and fewer owners the better !!!
