Location of fan resistors VS

hey,
the fan in my VS V6 doesnt operate on 1 and 2 but works o n 3 & 4 where are the resistors locaed?

whilst im here ay ac is low on gas but still has enough to engage the compressor clutch would this cause any extra wear?


if my compressor later requires replacing what other models can i get it off?

The wear issue I'll leave to an aircon expert to answer.

I'm pretty sure the compressors from VR-VS are all the same, at least they will be running R134a. Maybe someone else can confirm what models ran that same compressor?

Don't run the A/C if its not working right....the system requires the gas in the system to allow the oil to go around the system and into the compressor...so YES it will cause more damage if you use it.

VS/R compressor is the only one that will fit your car.

The resistor is under the wipper arms behind the black plastic plenum chamber cover under a little white cover in the middle of the two wipper arm pivit points.
