the rubber knob that you depress to operate the parking brake came off. I tried to put it back on, but the bit of metal it sticks on to (which engages the ratchett at the other end) pushed back inside and I've got no idea how to fix it. The parking brake is completely disengaged, and I'm guessing I will have to disassemble the handle mechanism to set it up properly again, but would appreciate some advice as to how to go about this. The Haynes manual I have says nothing about it, and I really don't want to stuff anything up. TIA.
