    Default VS2 Esteem Rims

    Howdy folks.. first post here

Well for starters.. picking up a VS2 Esteem in a few days... Botanica Green (or whatever they call it).

All pretty much stock except for some new tint (old stuff doing more harm than good, who left it in the sun hmmmmm). Only thing i'm not too big on is the stock esteem rims, i guess it's better than hubbies :P but looking for something a little nicer, preferably keeping a clean look. And before anyone says it, yes I am keeping the spoiler, i don't care what you think, i like it!

So.. my wish list, 15" or 17" rims, clean looking and not terribly expensive. Obviously with the 17" i would have to get new tyres and look at getting it lowered, cost starts to get prohibitive.

So here we go... any tips?

if you're gonna fork out for some rims, you may as well get ones you are happy with!
i personally cannot see the point of 15 inch rims. nothing sets of a commie like a nice set of big rims. so i say save up some pennies and go the 17"s

    vs2.. then you have IRS..
becareful before you go ahead with it. if you want to lower it properly your going to need springs, shortend shocks and struts and a irs kit. big buks.

dont waste your money on 15s, if you dotn want to spend much on tyres then go with the 17s, they look nice and you can burn em :P

I thought IRS was still optional?

Either way, is there an easy way to tell?

I'm completely foreign to anything mechanical

look under the car at the rear springs.. if they sit on an angle and ends of springs get smaller.. its irs.

yes it was optional but most vsII have irs.
