Theres a lever at the back that holds it all in place, just unscrew that. Be careful though as its near the copper pipe which can be very hot.
If this doesn't help, revert back to the stereo installation guide on the main page.
Hey everyone,
I began removing my console in my vs to get to the back of my head unit and i am up to the removal of the air-con. The top which is where the plugs go into is loose but the bottom half is being held in by what I believe is a mechanical control to the temperature. Could someone please direct me in how to remove this. I am so close to finishing it haha.
Thanks.

oh k, thanks a lot. Ill let you know how it goes.
make sure the control is set to FULL HOT and then unclip the plastic that holds the wire in n then just remove the control from the car
if you cant unclip the plastic thing remove the screw and slide the whole lot out just remember to put it back again lol once back in test it before putting the console back together just make sure it turns like its supposed to
