iregular idle....????

hey guys, i have a 95 Vr BT1 Auto wif bout 280k's on the clock, i have had truble with it just stalls wen im sitting at the lights, also every time i start it it idles at 1500rpm then slowly drops, i had a similar problem when i bought it of always stallin but i used to idle between 300rpm n 2000rpm n move in between there n cut out but i took it to my mechanic trusty mechanic n he sed run wynn's spitfire engine treatment thru it see how it goes still same, took it back he just cleaned out the throtle body still same lumpy idle then cuttin out, then it just fixed it self now its back
any idea's please help :hit:

have you checked the computer for any error codes. there could a number of problems here:

02 sensor
spark plugs
leads
tps
iac
temp sensor

the list goes on.

as i said check the computer for any errors first.

id put money on tps if it stalls when changing in gear from reverse to drive when you have your foot on the brake otherwise iac
also if your warning light comes on when you have your cruse control is on userly the tps

well ive had the same prob (not quite, but stalls every now and then changing gears etc) since ive had the car.. done nearly everything listed in about 100 topics lol except the injectrs, gonna go get some exchange one into the new year, let ya know how it goes
