how do u reset ur computer? and is it advised? ive got a new cai and my transmission seems to b kicking down quite hard lately... would it improve anything to reset and what does it actually do?

a CAI will not affect the way a car changes gears, resetting the computer will do nothing.

take the Engine Fuse out, leave out for 20 secs put back in
start car and rev at 3grand for 10seconds

well put it this way, it can not do any damage, and it may fix the prob you neva no, did u have the prob be4 u put cai in? but i thought it'd be worth doin as you have cai and a hi flo air filter so mroe airs getting through, but if not id get a tranny service done cheers

the reason i wouldnt reset the computer is because the computer knows its getting extra air flow and adjusts accordingly. But it wont hurt the car to do it, probably will benefit it...
