hi i posted awhile ago about the earthing of my head unit, i Have a kenwood KDC-MP4029G Head Unit. and after a while during the day i overheats and the speakers start to distort is there a way to stop it from over heating without turning my system down to 1?

Suspect you have a speaker grounded somewhere.

ALL speaker connections MUST NOT be connected or touch to the cars earth/ground/chassis at all.

Check the voltage at EACH speaker terminal and they sould be about 5 to 8 volts.

Its called BTL outputs and maj of Hi-Pow units use this system.

just finished checkin that each channel is fine at either end.
