relay question

hi fellas i found a glow pen and earthed it and found i wasnt getting any power to the fuse after pulling out pretty much the interior in my car all the problem was was a resistor in the wrong plug in the engnine bay!!!!!....how annoying though good to have aircon again... can any one with one of these fantastic invetion pens tell me wheather you get any illumination from any of the prongs on the airconditioner compressor relay in the bonnet where all the other relays are i noticeed i dont get any was wondering if this is normal??

Maybe you need the ignition to be switched on before power goes to that relay.
