Monster Tacho In Vs V8 Ute

HELLO PEOPLE. JUST BOUGHT AN AUTO METER MONSTER TACHO, AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING SIGNAL TO RUN TACHO. HAVE TRIED ALTERNATOR. PLEASE HELP!!!! :w00t:

dude you need to find the iginition coil, not the alternator...

but yeh I'd like to know where the iginition coil for the vs v8 is aswell. but I'd rather hook up the tacho from under the dash - what colour is the tacho signal wire for the VS? where about's is it located and next to which other coloured wires?
Also what colour wire is the headlights? where located?

I know for the VL under the steering column it's the brown wire next to 2 pink wires, but I'd assume VS V8 is different...

Wire the wires straight to the battery.

coil is on the back of the engine under the distributor(hope you got small hands) its a prick to get to cant help you with the wire colour but
