Bang
quick question, just went to start my car and it was running like it was on 5 cylinders, backfiring adn really really rough idle (sounds so loud through a sports exhaust
) left it idle like that for a few minutes, then i reved it abit, then something whent bang :my: (like metal hitting metal sorta sound) then it starting idling fine and no backfiring etc...
i had a quick look and my idler pulley was moving all over the place.
my question is 1) do i replace the idle pulley (its been wobbly for a few weeks now) 2) will the idler pulley make it run like that? 3) or is is somethign else..

(ps. my net is being stupid and for some reason the "Search" wont open my apoligies if this has been addressed before)
