Misses In First >>>FIXED<<<

First post hello!
Ive been lurking for a while and Ive fixed a few problems with hints from the board with my vr sedan but this ones got me stumped!

the car- 1993 vr sedan v8 m5

the problem- in first when i stand on it i get up to about 3 maybe 4k rpms and the engine starts to buck like im turning the spark on and off...
sometimes in second was then blowing the fuse (fixed see 3.)

what I have done to "try" and fix the problem-

1. crimped fuel return no change
2. replaced cap rotor leads plugs air filter no change
3. replaced oil presure switch (stopped blowing fuel pump fuse!)
(also changed oil and filter) otherwise no change
4. replaced fuel filter and pump and pump filter no change
5. replaced hall effect sensor and replaced ignition module and coil no change
6. replaced coolant temp sensor no change
7. cleaned throttle body and IAC
8. cleaned battery terminals replaced alternator regulator checked earths ok no change
9. removed and checked connectors to computer wiring looks ok no change
10. checked error codes none all 12's 12 12 12 12 12

Got me stumped! any ideas? thanks in advance!

p.s i did do a search and had a few ideas but as you can see none of them have panned out! :b:

update-

I removed and checked the spark plugs, all the gaps at 1.0mm, leads are around the 9200 to 9900 ohms... no way near the 17k max

it still blew the engine fuse "25" in the engine bay today... even after I drove it yesterday it didnt do it...

it didnt buck till it was hot then it blew the fuse after the third attempt at a takeoff ~3000rpm

I put it in diagnostic mode and the engine light changes from rich to lean to rich to stoic when i rev/idle it so it seems to be fine...

Ive bought a aldl cable cheap off ebay and I d/l some diagnostic software, Ill see how that goes...

other than that anyone know a good mechanic in brisbane??? or someone with a tech I???

Thanks again

Try this one outta the manual and if nothing on this page works I'll delete it and try another that might fit the symptoms....

I had crimped the fuel return line it made the motor run rougher

if the fuel preasure is too high will it blow the 25 fuse???

blownvsute thanks for the printout I rekon Im chasing my tail with an electrical fault either the new coil is suspect or theres some bad wiring in the engine bay ill pull the multimeter out and have a poke around the igniton control module, coil and distributor...

the fuse blowing is "25" it connects the fuel pump relay, engine relay, fan relay, ECM, oil preasure switch, coil and ignition control module...

oh and a tach signal... :D

its gotta be one of them hopefully not the ecm... :bang:

I might try the old coil again and Ill remove the tach signal as well...

round 13 here I come...

Cheers!

p.s blownvsute I downloaded the jpg... Ill try most of that tomorrow as well
