Hey does anyone know what possibilities there are for upgrading from standard 289mm fronts & 279mm rear rotors and calipers to later model setups ?

Whats the HSV specs for Sentator, GTS, GTS-R, Clubsport,...etc ?

What parts are interchangable between VT and VS ?

regards,

PBR have put out a new brake kit for VR/VS Commodores. 330ml ventilated/slotted twin piston rotors at the front and 280ml ventilated/slotted single piston calipers on the rear, together with braided hoses for all calipers. Check out their web site: http://www.pbrperformance.com.au/

Nice setup....but the price is a little over the top for me. There are cheaper options for upgrading the front only which does most of the work. Still all in all PBR kit is very nice.

I was quoted $1950 plus GST by Bursons.

you can get a decent 300mm pbr sports brake upgrade for like $400 for vr-vs.
there really isnt much need to pay thousands for brakes unless you car has some serious hp under the hood....especially if its a v6.
also to answer your original question sixshooter, you can put vt brakes on a vs but you need a conversion kit...probably better of goin for the pbr kit,it'll end up being cheaper.
