I noticed when I was driving home my newly purchased vs that there was no clock! then I realised that the clock would of been on the original deck, any ideas on how to mount a decent looking clock without making it look fuddy duddy, I miss my old VL digital clock. Any ideas ppl? pics would be cool.

pretty lame thread but handy. :b:

It's gonna stand out like dogs balls, with most aftermarket clocks. I'm lucky my Sony unit, ( which is nearly 5 years old ) which has its own clock. Maybe cut out the rectangle below the headlight switch and find a suitable size clock. Best of luck.

I don't understand why Holden would do this, such a cheap thing to do, how expensive would it be to just have a small clock somewhere.

Most stereo head units have a clock but not always turned on by default...check your manual if you have one for the HU.

If you want a factory looking clock...

then either need to find a factory stereo...

or fit a statesman top dash pad...

If you have a speed alert you can take that out and put a small clock in there.
That's pretty much al there would be to do.
