LSD Std in a calais?

I was just wondering if LSD was stock in VS calais' as i seem to be able to kik the rear out pretty easy in the dry, sometimes on take off too...the tyres are good they r turanza's(bridgestone) and are meaty...but could this just be because i have the stock 205 tyres of is it lsd? is there anyway i can tell by looking at the diff casing or sumfin?...thanks!

nope it was an option

if you jack up the back of the car and spin one wheel and the other wheel turn in the same direction it is lsd

it one goes one way and the other goes the other way its a single spinner

there should also be an lsd tag on the diff housing if its lsd

however if it has been converted it wont

Never thought of doin that...dnt think it was converted as old guy b4 me had car from new...dnt think he would wanted/needed lsd,lol...ill have to check that out...thanks for the info!

Look on your firewall tags...under axle:

G80 = LSD
GU4 = open wheeler

Did that go for Acclaim's too coz i will soon be pull an LSD out of a VS Acclaim so it can go in mine

just checked now...no lsd :cry: must be kiking out cos of skinny tyres...ahh well...thanks for the info guys!

production codes would be standard across the VS range...so yes to your question.

i've got GU4 stamp on plate but my ute came with LSD and has tag ?? does this mean it was optioned ?
