Poor idle then stall

been searching around but cant find anything conclusive...

My Vr's revs drop from about 800 to 500 and back again, it does this a few times then stalls.
Also, when i start it up and put it into drive, i lightly accelerate and the car starts to struggle and sometimes stall. Same story in reverse.

after driving the drive and revers issue is gone, but neutral still idles weird.

Any idea what could cause this,

try resetting your IAC valve by disconnecting the batt for a few mins and then reving the car over 2000 for 20 seconds

if its still the same id suggest replacing the IAC

but would that cause the problem in drive and reverse?

check your vacuum lines around the throttle body in regards to the fluctuating idle

Do a routine check of plugs and leads even try (if it will idle) disconnect the connection from the top of the injectors one at a time and see if the idle gets worse then reconnect if it doesnt get any worse once you have removed one then your injector is screwed.

but first clean your throttle body Snotty, it would be filthy for sure if its never been cleaned be4
