VR 4th gearbox replaced..

hi guys, ive had my gearbox replaced 4 times in the last year..i give it a bit every now n then.. i was wondering if there is any other gearbox that would fit the VR and is alot stronger?? thnx

sorry for hijacking your threwad but, (i own a vr) are all vr's gearbox's computerized?
Mine is taking a while to shift gears, asked a shop about it and they reackon its unrepairable and i need a new box wtf, is this true?

Hi guys im hi jaker too... I'm in the mittle of changing my transmission over aswell I'v got a series 2 vr and my box says 5hdd on it i found a box on ebay selling for 250 but its 4hdd any idea on the difference if it fits and works propprely etc?

found it the 5hdd was the change to the electronic transmission apparantly its also faster so good to know!
