VR & VS difference with workshop manuals.

I have a VR & was wondering, is there much difference in this model & a VS in regards to working on the VR using a VS workshop manual.

Also, how much do the manuals cost new, as I haven't been to town yet to check the prices.

I got my Ellerys and Gregorys off Ebay brand new for $ 20 each plus postage which was $10 I think. Both cover VR and VS. My preference is for the Gregory manual. You can also look at one in your library for free. Ebay always have them advertised though you can buy them from bookshops or autoshops for about $40.
Both vehicles are pretty much the same except the VS has the Ecotec engine using a different injection system, ignition changes etc.
