    Default VS Strut Brace

Hey guys, I finally got my Strut Brace after waiting about 2 months for it and just finished putting it on this morn, but i can only have it on without the Engine Cover on! which i wasnt very happy about but i thought i may aswell just get the plenium polished and make it look good.
So does anyone know where and how much it would cost to do that? and could you show me a picture too? Im in Vic also.
How hard is it to take the whole plenium and that off? like cause there is alot or crap all around there and i wanna clean it all up(attached it some pics too)

See if you can return it and get a new style whiteline one that is shaped to curve back towards the firewall like the ones for earlier models. They came out a few months ago.

Shouldn't they have a full plate on them to fit over the whole strut tower....?

Some do have a full plate ( six anchor points ) and lot have a half plate. The above strut brace is the first I’ve seen with only two anchor points. Honestly it's poorly designed. :my:

    Hey mate,

On eBay, onlineperformanceautos (i think) is the name of a shop who sell parts and mods for cars. They're actually based in Melbourne (Cheltenham). Have a search, they might sell strut braces.

I think this is an appropriate Whiteline Strut Brace... Rear mount.

    Default WhiteLine

I have the Adjustable WhilteLine Strut Brace and I chose the one that goes over the egine, as i believe they are slightly stiffer, and i can keep my cover on??

You might pay a bit more for whiteline but atleast you get quality, tested products that are desgined for your car! not your wallet!

    Good luck
