VR's and Pulsars

Ok sure enough this is going to sound like a completly idiotic post and a waste of time please no need for the flames a simple yes or no and maybe some explaining will be enough.

At the moment me and my mate are always arguing who will win in a drag, (Once I get my car few weeks) hes either in denial or suffers from brain damage but the more he comments on how wrong I am seriously starting to doubt myself lol.

Who would win out of....

Stock Nissian Pulsar 4Cyl 1993 -VS- Stock Holden Commodore Exec V6 1994

Both Autos.

IF it was a pulsar sss,you wouldnt have a chance...
but just a stocky pulsar should be pretty easily beaten on a 1/4 mile by a vr.
the pulsar would probably beat you off the line, but once you hit your torquey mid range in the vr its all over.

as far as i know the sss is manual 5sp, he said both auto

ye but the 2.0l came out in the ti as well and you can get em in auto

and also a very few aus spec SSS came out auto

so there is a good chanve its the 2.0l sr20de
