50th anniversary 1998 vs ute

Hey guys Iv got a 98 50th anniversary ute v6 ecotec, and wanting to know if anyone knows how to check if it's a genuine 50th? Is their a certain vin number or somthing? Iv looked online and theirs nothing? Cheers

Why are you interested? It's unlikely to be worth any more than a standard ute for the same year. Normally such anniversary models simply include more options at a cheaper price than normal.

Is the 5 speed manual gearbox in a 50th anniversary VS ute, a T5 or Getrag? Cheers Tony

Id be 99.9% sure its the getrag. If its the leather/vinyl boot on the shifter, which a hydraulic clutch its getrag. Rubber gator type boot - T5
