Speedo Correction after diff Gear change

Just got quoted $550 to get the speedo corrected on my brother's vs ute that has a had diff gear change to 3.7,has anyone got a cheaper solution?

jaycar have a kit which you can buy for $45 but you gotta build it yourself

Yeah I have nearly finished a fix for the vs, are you in sydney? I have done the fix for my bike and it works a treat.

yeah that was a worry for me, first pay for the diff and then the speedo reading. what sort of gadget have you made up to fix the problem and could it be adapted to work on a vl?
