hey,

i currently own a vs series 3 commodore ute and i'm afraid the clutch has started to slip and doesn't grab till the last minute, i think the clutch is pretty well burnt out. just wondering what will i have to get replaced? the plates? or the clutch? what parts?. Also is it hard to do? And how much would a decent mechanic charge including parts? and how much are the Parts?

any help would be greatly appreciated
cheers

Its not cheap if your fly wheel is stuffed.
Im pretty sure the series 3 had a clutch set up like my series 2 where there is a dual mass fly wheel.
Mine clutch components were replaced 6 months ago and cost me $1500 for parts and labour. ****!
