ok well my car codes say i have an early model vs esec series 2 but i have the trip computer and all the stuff that the s2 had without the irs.
I know my car hasnt been chooped because its an x family one..

My Brothers VS is a late series II, NO IRS

ive heard that irs is not the way to go is this true

Depends.. if you are lowering your car you need a camber kit to correct he -ve camber or you get inner tyre wear.. but it would be nicer for cornering I imagine, and a touch harder to get wheelspin around corners (may be good or bad - your call).

No idea on that stockvp, haven't got irs myself All I know is a mate with a VT exec bitching about IRS (but the VT had shocking camber problems).

Zoltan.. the trip computer and cruise control were probably optioned on.. I know my S2 doesn't have them, just the wanker alert (speed alert).
