hey guys, well as the title says, i gotta replace the crank angle sensor on my vs v6 ecotec. i was just wondering how much stuffing around thid is and how to do it. chears
anyhelp??? dont mean to be pushy but i gotta get it done by 2morrow lunch time so i can work on monday lol. or i get fired
I ended up gettin my mechanic to do it, $77 labour. But doin it yourself loosen and take off belt, remember where everything goes. take off harmonic balancer, and then you should be able to get to it.
yea thanx guys. im thinkin about sendin it to a mechanic to get done. i went out and bought a new crank angle sensor and that was $45. now all i gotta do is change it.
Dang! $45! I was quoted $89 from holden, then $83 from wreckers. I bought a second hand one from wreckers for $25, and the temp has got right up without car stalling, so far so good
yea the $45 was brand new aswell. from bursons auto parts at browns plains (brisbane) and repco quoted me $62.
my car stalls after abou t2 or 3 mins of driving. its that bad
What is Bursons like? I havent really been there before. Lots of parts, good prices?
I payed $94 at holden last weekOriginally Posted by pumba
