hey fellers..

mate of mine was talking about this mod he got off ebay, you tape it on the air sensor that runs to the airbox so the sensor doesnt sit in the airbox any more.

some kind of resistor that fools the sensor into thinking its not getting enough air so it sucks in more which is supposed to provide more power..

seems a little funny..

any one, infomation, opinions?

Sounds bad to me... just gonna screw up your air/fuel ratio.

these thigs simply give an incorrect inlet air temperature reading to the computer, this causes the car to run richer & advance the timing a bit.
generally you will use a lot more fuel & little if any gain

Just do a search we have covered this a few times. Its a scam, waste of $ its just a resistor worth $0.04 from dick smith which will do nothing for your car except bypass a good working sensor. Nothing good will come from it, trust me.
