with the vr is it the same, or as the vr has abs and the vn didnt, i herd u can push the pistion in by hand due to the abs?

just wondering casue if not i can b tight and not go by a g clamp :)

I pushed mine in by hand, and I don't have ABS.

G clamp or hand, though I've never found the hand method to fully push the piston home.
Mine has ABS but that shouldn't matter.

Use a G clamp - sometimes the pistons are a little stiff to push back in. You can also purchase a tool from KMart, Repco etc for about $10 that does the job very nicely.

Actually if you use a flat blade screw direver before you undo the calipre you can get it between the disk and the pad and push both side completely back, its then simply undo the top 17mm bolt, remove the bottom one, throw the calipre forward and fit the pads.
Its easy every second set to fit a calipre kit and put a little grease on the slides.
Good brakes and easy to do.

a calipre kit is seals for the calipre.
Grab one from a wreck and have a look, only 4 seals and easy to do.
