Gday guys.. i was just wondering what would be needed to throw a supercharger kit off ebay on to my vs ecotec? like woul i need new pistons cam etc.. thanks for ur help

hope you got lots of cash...to convert a n/a ecotec you would need:
s/c heads and manifold...s/c injectors and fuel rails...bigger fuel pump...new pulleys,belt and harmonic balancer...chip...cam..pistons,rods,crank...plus the compression in a n/a ecotec is too high for s/c applications,so you would never get serious boost from it.
if i were you id think about an s/c engine and trans swap...end up being cheaper than converting the n/a ecotec.

i believe you can get one crated to you for $6500 from holden, brand new with warranty.
which is pretty sweet i reckon...definately a better alternative than tryna s/c a factory n/a engine.
