error codes

my cousin's vr has been showing some odd error codes and we cannot find their meaning. these codes are 31 68 and 72. help will be appreciated.

Code 31 - Theft Deterrent Signal missing
Code 68 - Transmission Component Slipping - Auto Transmission Only
Code 72 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Intermittent While Driving

31-(key might not be making contact on ignition barrell or battery in key might be going flat)
