IRS in VS Wagon

My Brother has just bought a Vs wagon and is thinking of putting IRS in it. It is an Acclaim, dunno what year. Is that do-able?

I know that none of the wagon models in the VR/VS had IRS, not sure what the reason for it is. IRS is worthless and does nothing but cause problems, don't bother.

the cost of putting in IRS isnt worth it

the IRS was primarily designed to be used on the sedans and statos

It should be able to be done, but there is alot of work (and cost) involved. I looked at doing it ages ago, but didnt end up doing it (ive got airbag suspension so my camber would have been ****ed!)

I know a guy putting a VS IRS setup onto an early girl,(ie, VB-VL) so everything can be done, its just a matter of time/skills/money!
