    Default rear ended :(

driving home last night in the rain, everyone pulled to the left to let the coppers pass except for the guy the cop was after.
He decided he would pull over into my arse.

he had no wallet and no licence, im glad the cops were there to help him out.

    cheers

Just point out the damage (like it's hard to miss) to the copper... they would have to be a real pr!ck to book you for that.

not getting booked, I just sat in my car hearing how the cop said how i have been driving for under a year and i already know more road rules than him. they kept arguing. apparently the cops were trying to get the driver to pull over because he was swervingall over the road in really bad weather,

Oh and the driver was 84 years old

thats a nasty little bingle you've had there...
looks almost exactly what mine looked like when some nob ran up the back of my car a while back...the insurance company for the bloke drivin the other car wanted to write-off my vn calais, but i insisted on repairing it.
cost almost $5k just for damage very similar to how your car looks now.
amazing how much it costed to repair considering i sold that very same car a coupla months back for $3500.

Sorry to hear about that, it really sucks.

I was rear ended similar to you in my VS. You can get a feel for the damage by checking whether the rear doors stick more when opening compared to before the accident. When the repairs are complete I would strongly advise you to check the boot by opening and closing it multiple times. I now have a boot that is almost impossible to close and unfortunately no adjustment of the striker or latch can get it right.
