The Ecotec engine only comes with the VS series onwards so if yours is a VR then it does not have the Ecotec engine.....but it still has the V6 donk with heaps of power etc.

tell the differece by vr has a thinner top with 3800 written on it from front to back of the car where as the vs has the flat top with the plastic cover on it
