auto sliping

hi all the auto in my vr is sliping, but only in first or second when ya put the foot down. It dose it worst in first from stand still. It makes a real bad sound and the engin light came on and it gave code 72 "i think it was" anyway dose any one know what that oil stuff that is supose to stop the sliping of the belts is like ??

may need to replace the 1st to 2nd piston in the trans replace filter and put in new fluid

If it was me I'd be keeping my eye out for a secondhand tranny preferably private (cheaper) because yours sounds like it has the usual "fail" problems. You could pull it apart like vbcommodoreguy said but you'd need to know what you were doing. (I don't)
