VR Statesman Air Cond Probs

Hey everyone,

A friend of mine is having some probs with his 5L VR Statesman...
He's just made a trip across the Nullabor from WA and plans going on up to Queensland towing a caravan...But now his air cond has gone awol...the whole dash vibrates when he switches the climate on and it's emmitting a foul stench... does anyone here have any ideas what may be the cause ?

Nevermind...problem fixed !!!

An aircond specialist found a rather dead mouse stuck in the blower fan...

The little bugger must have crawled up in there when he stopped for a sleep on the Nulla...

Apparently the same Air-Cond bloke once had an encounter with brown snake in an air cond vent...

I had a similar problem - everytime I turned on the climate control there was a huge ticking noise.

After getting a quote from Holden for $1000 to remove the dash to get to the fan I thought **** it.

Had a look at the fan from underneath and there was a bloody shoelace in the fan. Don't know why it's taken this long to cause problems, but it's all good now.
