Install VS Radio into XF

Hi, just got myself an XF ute as a daily work car, and wanting to install my VS Radio+CD-Stacker

It all turns on, no fuse blowing. The light flashes for me to enter the Security code.. But the screen is not showing up. I have the Security code, but its meant to show a "1".

So im lost, ive tried using a few different wires, that are left over from the XF for illumination but nothing..

Any help, would be awesome

The radio requires non accessory power all the time to keep its memory and accessory power to run when the ignition is on. The manual indicates that it has 3 hot wires going to it...brown and white, orange and violet and finally yellow. Try putting +12v to each of those wires though to keep its memory +12v will need to go to 2 (one IGN and one BATT). Hope that makes sense.
