strange sucking noise coming from throttle body area

Try and find where the suction is coming from. Just run your finger over seals and connections and use your ears to listen for it. Find where its coming from then we'll help you fix it.

I had the same noise on my 5L. sort of like an intermittent sucking.

I removed and cleaned the throttle body out, along with all the PCV valves etc. and it seems to have reduced the noise significantly.

Dunno if it'll help, but can't hurt

i had the same prob on my VS V6, i had accidently left the intake pipe loose when i fitted CAI. could be that simple. made it run like a goat.

At first i thought it was coming from the air box so i looked but couldnt find anything,then i started the car with it off,it was still coming from up the hose thingy so i took the oxygen thing off and was still coming from up my hose and next step is the thottle body,not sure wat will happen if i leave it open and start the car
