Urgent Question bout VS SS Gearboxes

What gearbox comes in the series 2 VS SS, is the Gerabox different from the series 1.

Ive just brought a new clutch and ive been told it might be the wrong 1, the 1 i brought is a single plate to suit the borg warner (t5) i think.

But ive just found out my car might have the getrag gearbox, which apparently the clutch will cost me about $1000 more!!!

But from a different person ive been advised the getrag only came in the series 2 v6, and v8 still have the borg warner (t5)

Anyone have any more info on this.....

Ive just been advised by a mate who is a mechanic, he spoke to Holden to confirm, only the V6 series 2 manual has the Getrag, all V8's still had the borg warner for the whole VS Series.

Thats a releif saved myself $1000
