A/con Heater fan help

Hello all i need some help with my VR :bow:
I was driving my wagon with the A/con on, then smoke started coming from under the glove box and no air
Now i have looked in the workshop manual ( rip all of dash out )
The question i would like to know can i get the fan out without riping the dash out & whole heater unit out ) :bang:
And yes i have tested the wiring, power to fan ( fan dead )
I hope some one has done this and can tell me the tick of the trade

Do a search on this forum as I think its been mentioned before...maybe look for 'heater replacement' or similar. Good Luck.

You need to drop the passenger glove compartment. You will be able to see it once you drop that. Can be a little tedious if you havent taken it out before. Any probs let me know.
